Our mission is to distribute and archive works of time-based art. Each issue highlights artists working in new or experimental media, whose works are best documented in video or sound.

Manon Slome

Manon Slome (PhD) is an independent curator and writer living in New York City. From its opening in 2006 until June 2008, she was the Chief Curator of the Chelsea Art Museum, overseeing some 40 exhibitions, symposia , museum catalogues and scholarly essays. Dr. Slome was assistant curator and director of special exhibitions at the Guggenheim Museum ((1994-2001) and was a recipient of the Helena Rubenstein curatorial fellowship at the ISP of the Whitney Museum of American Art. Recent publications include, Such Stuff as Dreams are Made on: Contemporary Israeli art, (2005), Dangerous Beauty, (2007) and Perino and Vele, 2008. The Aesthetics of Terror will be published by Charta in June 2009. Her most recent project is NO LONGER EMPTY which places exhibitions in empty commercial spaces throughout New York City.
