Our mission is to distribute and archive works of time-based art. Each issue highlights artists working in new or experimental media, whose works are best documented in video or sound.

Ed Halter

Ed Halter is a critic and curator living in New York City. He has written for Afterall, Artforum, The Believer, Rhizome, The Village Voice and other publications, and is a 2009 recipient of the Creative Capital | Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant. From 1995 to 2005, he programmed and oversaw the New York Underground Film Festival, and has organized screenings and exhibitions at numerous venues including The Flaherty Film Seminar, Artists Space, PS1 and Participant, Inc. He currently teaches at Bard College, and is a founder and director of Light Industry, a venue for film and electronic art in Brooklyn.
