Wireful Interventions

LoVid’s interdisciplinary works explores social, personal, and corporal experiences in the networked era. LoVid’s performances include sculptural instruments and explosive real-time audiovisuals. Our installations and media-objects combine hand-made and machine produced craft, DIY electro-engineering, and textiles. Throughout our projects and works we create a narrative of a retro-futuristic coexistence between biological and technological systems. In this narrative technology has taken a different evolutionary route. LoVid’s projects a are conceived as relics from this possible parallel universe. In this place, artificial and technological systems are organic, large, messy, social, and emotional.
