Our mission is to distribute and archive works of time-based art. Each issue highlights artists working in new or experimental media, whose works are best documented in video or sound.

Ciuco Gutiérrez

Torrelavega (Cantabria, Spain), 1956. In 1983, Ciuco Gutiérrez created his first images with his own personal style. His first solo exhibition took place three years later at the Moriarty Gallery in Madrid. He was one of the first photographers, along with Alberto Garcia Alix, Javier Vallhonrat and Joan Fontcuberta, to exhibit in art galleries and in ARCOmadrid. He has had close to one hundred solo exhibitions, in Spain and abroad. His work is represented in important collections, including the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid and the Fundación La Caixa in Barcelona. For several years now, Gutiérrez has been the director of the International Master of Photography program at EFTI (Escuela de Fotografía y Centro de Imagen).
