Stephen Persing

Stephen Persing is an art critic and blogger based in Massachusetts. His journal of working on the team that executed Sol LeWitt’s Wall Drawing #1131, Whirls and Twirls, at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, published in Art in America (October 2005) is the longest firsthand account of the process to date. He subsequently worked at the Wadsworth Atheneum from 2007-2008. His blog, Art Note, continues to be updated at http://artnote.blog.com. A short-lived radio series from the blog ran from April-July 2011 on unregularradio.com. His other writings include op-ed essays for The Hartford Courant, and humor for mcsweeneys.net.
