Our mission is to distribute and archive works of time-based art. Each issue highlights artists working in new or experimental media, whose works are best documented in video or sound.

Nikhil Murthy

Nikhil Murthy is an artist living and working in Los Angeles. Originally from Irvine CA, he received his MFA from The California Institute of the Arts in 2006 and his BA in Visual Art and BS in Physics from UCSD in 2001.

Nikhil works in video and sculpture. His work uses elements from politics, television, hip-hop, science and economics to discuss ideas of time, space, empathy, dignity and antagonism. His work has been exhibited throughout California including RAID Projects, The Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery at Barnsdall Park and the University Art Museum at CSULB. Most recently at Francois Ghebaly as part of the show Bourgeois Problems organized by Catherine Taft. Additionally his writing appeared in the most recent issue of Marcel.
