Nick Capasso

Nick Capasso, Ph.D. is Senior Curator at the DeCordova Sculpture Park + Museum, a museum of contemporary art in Lincoln, Massachusetts. During his 20 years in the DeCordova Curatorial Department, he has organized or co-organized over 75 exhibitions, including national group thematic shows, and large-scale solo exhibitions of regional and internationally-recognized artists. Capasso has also played a central role in the expansion and programming of the DeCordova Sculpture Park.
In addition to his work at DeCordova, Capasso has worked extensively with contemporary art, outdoor sculpture, and public art as an art historian, guest curator, critic, lecturer, private consultant, and design selection panelist. He has also written on aspects of contemporary art and public art for Sculpture magazine, Public Art Review, and Arts Magazine, and is a Trustee of the UrbanArts Institute at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
