Kevin Hamilton and Lara Scott

Lara Scott and Kevin Hamilton have been friends for over ten years, and always over a distance; Lara is currently based in Hamilton, New York, and Kevin in Urbana, Illinois. Their project for ASPECT is their first collaboration, and grows directly out of a series of previous conversations, typically conducted over the telephone. Both artists come from backgrounds in painting, and only Lara works regularly in video (her work can be viewed at vimeo.com/larascott). Kevin's past work explored telepresence through other means, including interactive projects for web and gallery (more information available at kevinhamilton.org).
