Jed Speare

Jed Speare is an artist and arts manager working in a variety of media and settings. Initially trained in music composition, he has presented time-based works in sound, video, and performance extensively, in addition to conceptual and installation works, nationally and internationally.

Jed was Director of Mobius in Boston from 1996 through 2004, and is currently Director of Studio Soto there. He is the recipient of numerous grants, awards, and residencies, and has written about performance art in P-Form magazine. He was also a regular contributor on performance art in Art New England from 2001-2003.
