Eduardo Navas

Eduardo Navas is an artist and researcher specializing in Contemporary Art and Media. He has presented his work throughout the Americas and Europe, and collaborates with artists and institutions to organize events and develop new forms of publication. He has been a juror for Turbulence.org and Rhizome.org, and is a 2008 Creative Capital Consultant. He is co-founder of newmediaFIX (2005 to present), and was gallery Coordinator at CALIT2, UC San Diego in 2008. Navas has taught art and media theory for numerous colleges and Universities in Southern California, as well as the East Coast. He is a Ph.D. Candidate (ABD) in the Department of Art History, Theory and Criticism at UCSD.
