Our mission is to distribute and archive works of time-based art. Each issue highlights artists working in new or experimental media, whose works are best documented in video or sound.

Brian Knep

Brian Knep's installations are dynamic and respond to changes in their environment. Some are simply aware of the passage of time while others sense and react to the people around them. His work has been featured in solo exhibitions at Ronald Feldman Fine Arts, New York; the New Britain Museum of American Art, Connecticut; and Arizona State University, Tempe, among others. Group exhibitions include the Milwaukee Art Museum, Wisconsin; Sheppard Fine Arts Gallery, University of Nevada, Reno; Place de Hercé, Laval, France; and Insa Art Center, Seoul, Korea. Knep has received grants from the Creative Capital and LEF foundations and has won awards from Ars Electronica, Americans for the Arts, and AICA/New England. In 2005 he became the first artist-in-residence at Harvard Medical School in a program co-sponsored by the Office for the Arts.
