Our mission is to distribute and archive works of time-based art. Each issue highlights artists working in new or experimental media, whose works are best documented in video or sound.

Alise Upitis

Alise Upitis is a Visiting Scholar at the Center for Advanced Visual Studies at MIT, where she is investigating new modes for understanding and disseminating archival productions surrounding time-based artworks. She has curated exhibitions on Cyprien Gaillard and Christoph Draeger; her writing has recently appeared in Arq and Big Red & Shiny. Alise holds a PhD in Architecture from MIT and an A.B., summa cum laude, from Smith College.
