Adrian Duran

Adrian R. Duran is a Memphis, TN based art historian and critic.  He currently holds the position of Assistant Professor of Art History at the Memphis College of Art.  Duran received his BA from the University of Notre Dame in 1998 and his PhD from the University of Delaware in 2006.  A specialist in twentieth century Italian painting, sculpture, and ceramics, Duran has published in caa.reviews, ART:21, Saatchi Online, and his book "Painting, Politics, and the New Front of Cold War Italy" is forthcoming from Ashgate Publishing.
