Un Chant d'Amour is an installation that reinterprets Jean Genet's movie of the same title. Gruner re-creates some of the most significant scenes of this short film, and appropriates the broad resonance of the title. The projected images presented in the installation play with physical location and viewer experience while reflecting upon the complex themes of love and desire.
